Commercial Evictions Stayed Until 11/13/20

Please click this link for the latest Executive Order issued by Governor Cuomo.

As we had predicted last week in our Blog, there is another new Executive Order further staying Commercial Evictions through November 13, 2020. It is clear that the road ahead for Property Owners will remain challenging, as they are unable to exercise their contractual and statutory rights against their Tenants.

While technically Courts are "Open", effectively there has been limited progress towards moving the volumes of pending cases forward in any meaningful way. This new order is yet another illustration of the continued failure to support property owners who have been negatively impacted as a result of the crisis. As any news develops, we will keep you posted.

If you have questions or we can be of any assistance, please let us know.

We are here to provide as much help and guidance as we can.
